A passion for technology and a hunger for learning drives Dr. Maynard desire to offer the most cutting edge resources in the area of gifted and talented education and technology integration.
Dr. Maynard is a forward thinker-- an educational visionary. She sees potential in every situation--whether in a person or an opportunity. In every situation she hits the ground running with a solid vision and well thought out plan for reaching the client’s desired outcome.
In 2002, Dr. Maynard built a K-8 virtual gifted program model, the first of its kind in a K12 Virtual Academy. The program garnered attention from K12, the parent curriculum company, colleagues, parents and students.
Dr. Maynard is an idea powerhouse coming up with innovative solutions to complex issues organizations face. She researches ideas thoroughly and delights in expanding the knowledge of those around her. She shares strategies for technology innovation, teaching gifted students, and teaching in an online environment. She is passionate about using technology to maximize learning and productivity.
Dr. Maynard has led workshops with some of the largest school districts in Washington State as well as 35 small rural districts who are building an online program for college bound students. She has trained professors at Whitworth University who required strategies for maximizing student engagement in an online environment. She has trained business leaders and coaches seeking strategies for providing dynamic face to face and online trainings for their clients.
Dr. Maynard is a teacher at heart beginning her teaching career in 1997. She is a dynamic trainer who has courage to think outside the box, a keen ability to understand and connect with people, a 21st century learning mentality, and a delightful personality.
